Hullinger Scott's self-driven focus was the process of drawing. His work moved from static drawings to gymnastic performances using props to negotiate his physical relationship to mark-making. His experimentation included drawing from a balancing beam, fly-fishing, restricting his own movement, and eventually distancing himself from production all together by sending a pdf of a drawing to a production company in China to be reproduced as a large scale painting.
