Began his graduate study having an extensive background in photojournalism. His self-driven focus centered on efforts to redefine photography through a non-human-centric way of seeing the world. Arching, diving, crawling, and pointing his camera at both urban and rural northeastern landscapes he sought to allow his experimental use of the camera to organize his compositional strategies.
